Enhance GX-H1 Cheap Gaming Headphones

For some weeks now we have been reviewing the best gaming headphones that we can find at the moment for different video game and PC consoles.

Today we are going to see one of the cheapest gaming headphones that we can find and that despite its low price can still offer us a good experience. Enhance GX-H1 gaming headphones is a cheap but top of the line USB powered headphones highly recommended as a starter PC gaming headphones.

In this Enhance GX-H1 review, we will highlight its main features and what sets it apart despite its love price.

Enhance GX-H1 Review

The ENHANCE GX-H1 are made especially for PC, so if you are a gamers with Xbox or PS console will you will have to look for another model.

They are made entirely of plastic, so do not expect a great quality, although they are quite comfortable thanks to their adjustable headband (not that they are recommended to play without rest for hours). The blue LED light can be a great addition for a lot and for others a great inconvenience, that goes for tastes, but keep in mind that it will always be on (there is no “off” button).

The sound, for the price they have, is quite nice and clear thanks to the Surround 7.1 system, and the microphone works very well (although you can notice some static noise if you move it a lot). It is a microphone that can be removed and that is plugged into the left earphone on the bottom, near the cable (can be folded).

One disadvantage is that it uses a USB port to connect to the computer instead of an audio jack because it needs power to light the LEDs on the headphones. The volume and microphone buttons seem a bit flimsy.

The first thing to keep in mind is that we are talking about a gaming headset that costs less than $30, so we cannot expect to find the best features and the best materials in its headphone.

That said, they provide good sound quality with Surround 7.1, microphone, controls on the cable and some very bright blue LEDs on the headphones, which will please many and displease others (cannot be turned off). They are comfortable, but probably with the passing of the hours we will “noticing their presence”.
